Appointments are welcomed to help keep us prepared for your visit and ultimately reduce the repair time for your vehicle. If strict time constraints are involved, we highly recommend notifying us beforehand so we may accommodate you at our best. Walk-ins are also welcomed.

Does your firm offer free estimates?
Yes; we provide free estimates to customers at our facility.
Can you provide body estimates over the phone or through email?
We always encourage customers to bring the vehicle to our facility for the most accurate estimate; however, if this is problematic, we can provide you with a rough estimate through email. Please email John@mgmautorepair.com with detailed pictures of the damage, in addition to the vehicle's VIN (vehicle identification number). This works best with minor accidents. Extensive damage may require a physical, in-person evaluation. Please note that estimates through email are based upon outer appearance only, therefore, the amount can potentially differ upon a physical evaluation.
What is your average diagnostic charge?
Our diagnostic fee is in large part dependent on the issue and amount of time required to conduct the diagnosis. On average, running a computer diagnostic and troubleshooting an issue can run between $60-$90. Extensive testing can yield a higher fee; though similarly, simpler testing may be done free of charge.
Does your firm perform all types of repairs?
Feel free to seek us out for any and all vehicle-related repairs. Our service list is extensive and we work on a wide variety of vehicles. However, on the off-chance that you require a service we do not provide, we possess a wide network of companies we trust and can always point you in the right direction.
Does your firm provide late drop-off?
In the event that you are unable to drop off or pick up a vehicle during our normal business hours, contact us and we will gladly accommodate your request for an after-hour drop off or pick up.
What type of parts do you use during repairs?
We use a combination of either OEM or Aftermarket equipment. When available, we provide customers various options along with our honest recommendation during repairs. In the event that we use an Aftermarket product, it will be from a reputable source and feature comparable or exceeding quality to its OEM counterpart.
Do you offer a warranty on your repairs?
Yes, nearly all of our repairs come with a warranty. Warranty periods vary based on the repair and the parts used, but you can usually expect a 12 month/12,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty on both the equipment used and the workmanship we provide. In the event that an issue reoccurs within a warranty period, please do not hesitate to return the vehicle to us. Qualifying issues guaranteed under our warranty will be repaired for you at no expense.
Does your firm price match with competitors?
Our firm works hard to provide customers with some of the lowest prices for the quality of parts and labor we offer. On the off-chance that a competitor provides you a lower quote, we will often match and potentially beat their price, granted you provide us with a legitimate detailed and written quote from a reputable firm. Price matching will only apply to similar work and material inquiries (at our discretion).
Does your firm work with insurance companies?
Absolutely. In the event of any accident that will be resolved through insurance, simply notify the involved insurance agency that you will be leaving the car at MGM Auto Repair & Body Shop. Once the vehicle is in our facility, we will be in contact with your insurance agency and take care of all matters pertaining to the incident from that point forward.
Does your firm provide loaner cars during repair periods?
We apologize but we currently do not offer loaner cars during repairs. However, we will gladly provide you with transportation to a nearby rent-a-car facility. Additionally, we can work with you to schedule repairs in a manner that leaves you with the least amount of down-time without your vehicle. We go to great lengths to provide customers with accelerated repair times and try to accommodate requests at the best of our abilities.
Does your firm provide a towing service?
Our firm does not currently offer a towing service for vehicles, though we will gladly refer you to qualified and respectable tow agents at your request.
Does your firm provide smog check service?
We currently do not conduct smog checks at our facility; however, we will gladly refer you to qualified smog check station at your request. In the instance that your vehicle fails a smog test, our facility can conduct a diagnosis and perform the necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle passes the following time.
I found a car I would like to buy, does your firm conduct used car inspections?
Absolutely. If you are looking to buy a vehicle and would prefer to have it inspected prior to purchase, you are welcome to bring it in for a thorough and complete evaluation. We will test-drive the car, hoist the vehicle on a lift, inspect it for any mechanical and electrical issues, search for any hint of prior accidents/repairs, verify the vehicle has not been tampered with, and provide you with a final assessment, recommendation, and consultation on the vehicle. This will allow you to make your decision fully informed and well aware of the condition of the vehicle, ultimately eliminating the risk involved with purchasing used cars. The cost of our complete inspection is $50.
Does your firm currently have any used vehicles for sale?
Though we do not operate as sellers of used cars, we do occasionally acquire vehicles from trusted customers that are available for purchase. Vehicles in our possession are often in great condition, with all necessary repairs performed. Upon acquisition of any vehicle, we thoroughly inspect it and perform all necessary repairs and maintenance before selling. If you are in need of a vehicle, feel free to either call us or send us an email to see what we have in store. Through buying from our facility, you will be purchasing a clean vehicle from a dependable source with the comfort in knowing that all necessary maintenance has been attended to; all at a price much lower than any dealer.
